The State Championship

Hi, my name is Michael. I play basketball. It is my favorite sport and I am really good at it. I have a brother named Justin. We are twins but he is 17 seconds older. We both love basketball. We play on the same team in AAU. AAU is a league that is very hard. Our team is called the Tar Heels. Last year we almost won the state championship. We lost by 7 points. This year we hope to win it all.

We are in the state championship, but Justin just got hurt. At the beginning of the game everybody was nervous. I told them,"We are going to do fine as long as we play our hardest." And that is just what they did. They were up by 14 at halftime. On the sidelines the whole game Justin was cheering us on. We won the game. The final score was 45-33. It was a pretty fun game. When we got the trophy I said,"This doesn't belong to us, it belongs to Justin for leading us on this journey." And after that in the next 5 seasons they would go on to win 4 state championships.
